DSI bags AED 175 million Dubai project

Dubai, UAE - Drake & Scull International (DSI) has announced that its general contracting subsidiary, Gulf Technical Construction Company (GTCC) was awarded a contract worth AED 175 million by Orion Real Estate Development, the company said through a Press communiqué. The contract is for constructing the West Bay residential tower, which will be located at the new Business Central district, Dubai.

Speaking on this development, Mohammad Atatreh, Board Member of DSI, said: “This deal is an excellent addition to the growing portfolio of our civil contracting subsidiary, which has emerged as a preferred general contracting partner in the UAE. We are pleased to pick up momentum in our project awards in the UAE market, and we are currently accelerating our bidding activities to secure additional work primarily in the MEP sector.” Atatreh further added that the project will feature 252 residential apartments, and GTCC will be involved in the construction, civil engineering and MEP works.
