Dentons, claimed to be the world’s first polycentric global law firm, has advised National Central Cooling Company PJSC (“Tabreed”) on the AED 192.5 million financing obtained from Emirates NBD for the development of Tabreed’s District Cooling plant for Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dentons has announced.
The Dentons’ project team was reportedly led by Jon Nash, Partner at Dentons, with assistance from Associate Kanishka Singh, while the Dentons’ finance team was led by Partner Udayan Mukherjee, with assistance from Associates, Annabel Levick and Mona Hammadi.
On the occasion, Nash commented: “It’s always a pleasure to support Tabreed in its development activities in the region, especially on such a high-profile project, which is so important to Dubai and the wider UAE. Tabreed is a key player in the promotion of energy efficiency in the region, which is a trend we are seeing across our entire client base. We are privileged to have been involved, and look forward to working with our clients on new initiatives in this growing sector.”
