Danfoss announces new Sales Director, MENA

Dubai, UAE, 27 June 2018: Engineering and cooling solutions provider, Danfoss, has announced the promotion of Alexander Abrass as Sales Director, Danfoss Cooling Solutions, Sales Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with effect from July, 1, 2018, the company said in a Press communiqué.

According to Danfoss, Abrass started as Sales Engineer with Danfoss Power Solutions in Venezuela in 2006, moved to Industrial Automation a year later, and steadily progressed until he became Sales Manager for the Andean Region (Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Venezuela). In 2013, he was appointed Sales Director for the Andean Region for Danfoss Cooling Solutions, the company said.

In 2015 he joined the Turkey, Middle East and Africa team – the MENA team – as Sales Manager, where he faced many challenges, demonstrating unique leadership capabilities, over the past three years, the company said.

According to Danfoss, in his new role as Sales Director, DCS-MENA, Abrass will continue to report to Ziad Al Bawaliz, TMA Regional President, Danfoss.
