Daikin VRV IV series receives Abu Dhabi QCC certification

Product was earlier awarded Green Product of the Year by Emirates Green Building Council

Dubai, UAE: Daikin has announced that the Daikin VRV IV series has received the Abu Dhabi Trustmark for Environmental Performance from the Abu Dhabi Quality Conformity Council (QCC).

The VRV IV series, the company said, is equipped with VRT technology, which constantly monitors ambient temperature and continuously adjusts not only the refrigerant flow like typical VRF systems but also the refrigerant temperature to achieve maximum efficiency and minimum power consumption.

Furthermore, the company revealed that the series had won the The Green Building Product of the Year 2016’ Award at the Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC) awards ceremony. The ceremony, the company added, honoured companies that demonstrate clear implementation of sustainable design.

The company informed that the QCC certification and Emirates GBC Award were announced during Daikin’s Annual Dealer Meeting, held on May 30, 2016. During the ceremony, the company added, over 73 Daikin Dealers across UAE were awarded for their sales performance in FY15.

Geoff Watson, Deputy General Manager of Daikin (Middle East and Africa), said, “We congratulate all the dealers and will continue our collaboration together, along with a fully fledged new product range that not only suits the high ambient temperature of the region but also meets the highest level of efficiency and compliance with regional regulators such as: ESMA, ESTIDAMA, QCC, SASO, MEW & others.”
