Event designed to elevate awareness and support for energy-saving and climate change projects
Preparations for the inaugural Emirates Energy Efficiency Summit (EEES) are under way, with partners GE and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, event host, the American University in Dubai (AUD) has announced.
To be held on February 3 and 4, the invitation-only event will reportedly bring together prominent keynote speakers and B2B stakeholders, including business professionals, government legislators and the media, for a programme of roundtable discussions and presentations.
Designed to elevate awareness and support for energy-saving and climate change projects and initiatives, the EEES aims to encourage global discussion and knowledge sharing on key issues of goals that resonate well with the university’s own mission AUD revealed.
Dr Lance E de Masi, President of AUD, and a member of the executive council shaping the direction of the EEES, commented: “AUD’s mission is to advance the welfare of society by imparting, cultivating and disseminating knowledge. Our hosting and contributing to the organisation of the Emirates Energy Efficiency Summit is a way to further this mission.”
