Atkins says that it will be exhibiting its capabilities in nuclear, power, renewables and oil and gas
Dubai, UAE: Regional market trends and focus on the energy mix combining nuclear, power, renewables and oil and gas will be set out in a series of presentations as Atkins has announced that it will be exhibiting at the 18th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) in Dubai from October 4 to 6, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The announcement said that Callum McLaurin, Head of Power Middle East, and David Haboubi, Head of Strategy, will present Atkins’ Energy Middle East during the three-day exhibition and conference. Topics to be covered will include Atkins’ involvement in projects incorporating various technologies, the future of sustainability, asset management and the regional push for collaboration between the types of energy and power generation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the region, revealed the announcement.
Hosted by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the event, the announcement said, will attended by key investors and decision-makers from energy, water and environment sectors. This year’s theme is ‘At the forefront of sustainability’, and the event, it informed, has been organised under the umbrella of Green Week – a series of community-orientated activities across Dubai. It added that the exhibition and conference will also showcase Dubai’s vision of sustainability and future as a smart city, integrating power and renewables.
During all three days of the event, Atkins said that it will be exhibiting its capabilities in nuclear, power , renewables and oil and gas at Stand CH14, in the UK Pavilion.
