Conference to showcase different trends and best practices, says official
Atlanta, Georgia, USA, July 16: The Building Performance Analysis Conference, organised by ASHRAE, is scheduled to take place from September 27 to 29 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the society said through a Press communiqué.
Dennis Knight, Conference Chair, said: “This conference engages the design aspect of modelling and simulation. The topics address the work of HVAC engineers, architects and other building design professionals who rely on simulation and modelling tools to perform their day-to-day work and meet their standard of care.”
Knight further added that the objective of the conference is to showcase the different trends and best practices, related to “planning designing, construction, and operation of high-performing, low-energy consuming buildings that are environmentally responsive, safe and healthy for human occupancy”.
He further added that the conference would comprise of a series of presentations and would include topics like: ‘Integrating the HVAC Engineering Workflow into the BIM Work Environment’, ‘Design in the Built–Environment through Integrated Design’, ‘Projects with Post-Occupancy Data’ and ‘Best Practices in HVAC Load Analysis, etc.
