Conference to cover a diverse range of topics that include IAQ, Energy-Water Nexus and Smart Cities, says official
Atlanta, Georgia, USA, September 13: ASHRAE has announced the opening of registrations for the Developing Economies Conference, the society said through a Press communiqué. The event is scheduled to take place from November 10 to 11, 2017 in New Delhi, India.
According to the communiqué, the conference is being organised in partnership with ASHRAE India, and the Delhi Chapter of ISHRAE. The theme will be on ‘Trends, Opportunities and Challenges for the Built-Environment in Developing Economies’.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Rakheja, Conference Chair, said: “The conference offers a unique opportunity to listen and interact with experts from ASHRAE, and speakers from nearly 15 countries, who will deliberate on trends influencing the built-environment.
“This initiative is a great step towards bringing industry stakeholders like designers, building professionals and policy makers on one platform to find solutions to address the needs of these diverse cultures and climates.”
He further added that some of the topics for discussion would include: Internet of Things, Energy-Water Nexus, International Experiences, Smart Cities, UN Environment, Indoor Air Quality and Tall Buildings.
