Course to focus on sizing and energy efficiency, and psychrometrics and system design essentials, among other topics
DUBAI, UAE, 11 December 2024: The ASHRAE Falcon Chapter (AFC) said it will be conducting HVAC Design: Levels I & II (MENA), a five-day training programme that it added will equip stakeholders with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in HVAC design. Level 1 will take place from January 27 to 29, 2025, while Level II will take place from January 30 to 31, 2025, AFC said. The programme will take place in Dubai, AFC added.
The programme is tailored to the design requirements of the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia, AFC said. The courses will not only increase HVAC knowledge of stakeholders but will also accelerate the rate at which they will be able to increase their knowledge in the future, AFC said.
According to AFC, the programme will enable stakeholders to make a significant impact in their HVAC designs, in terms of sizing and energy efficiency; psychrometrics and system design essentials; controls, automation and optimisation; comprehensive System Knowledge; and system selection for sustainability.
