Arlington, Virginia, USA, 27 June 2018: The Air-conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and other coalition partners, through the High Performance Building Coalition, celebrated High Performance Building Week by meeting with a number of legislators recently, to show joint support for manufacturer priorities, the organisation said in a Press communiqué.

The meetings highlighted issues such as the Qualified Improvement Property (QIP) fix needed under bonus depreciation, and efficiency-related tax extenders that are currently expired (25C, 45L, and 179D), the communiqué said.

The communiqué said that AHRI and others in the QIP Coalition sent a letter to all United States Congressional offices urging them to address the drafting error as soon as possible.
