Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: According to a press release issued by refrigerant management software company, Trakref has signed an agreement with Abunayyan Trading Corporation (ATC), under which ATC become the exclusive distributor for the United States-based in Saudi Arabia. ATC is one of Abunayyan Holding’s Strategic Business Units, said the press release.

The agreement, the press release revealed, was signed at ATC’s headquarters in Riyadh in the presence of top management from both companies, including Khalid Abunayyan, President & CEO of Abunayyan Holding, and Allam Al-Khalidi; while Trakref’s Ted Atwood, President and CEO, and Chris LaBorde, Managing Director (Middle East & North Africa), represented the company.

ATC will sell, service and maintain relationships throughout Saudi Arabia, said the press release. The companies, it added, will finalise product and intellectual details, and will be soon accepting orders for new subscribers.

Trakref’s prominent market presence in the United States, the press release highlighted, supports more than 25% of the supermarket activity, and reportedly has over a million assets under the care of the Trakref system.

ATC, the press release said, considers this association with Trakref as a strategic move in helping the Kingdom meet the goals set out by the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030.

Atwood said, “We are pleased to align with an industry leader like Abunayyan to serve clients with high demand for cooling and an interest in significantly reducing their demand side energy & carbon footprint while extension of equipment life.”
