Company says it will showcase how Lifecycle Refrigerant Management can mitigate supply constraints amidst national HFC phasedown
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, United States, 8 January 2024: A-Gas, a lifecycle refrigerant management solutions provider, announced its participation at the 2024 edition of the AHR Expo. Making the announcement through a Press release, A-Gas said attendees can visit booth #S7197 in the South Building to learn how lifecycle refrigerant management incentivises safe recovery and capture of refrigerant gases, which, in turn, enables a continued supply of HFC refrigerants amid the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act HFC phasedown from January 222 to 24. A-Gas further said it offers a circular solution for refrigerant gas needs, utilising state-of-the-art refrigerant gas recovery and reclamation technologies.
A-Gas said it reprocesses used refrigerants to the AHRI-700 standard and reintroduces them back into the market by providing efficient and comprehensive refrigerant gas services with a focus on circularity through refrigerant reclamation. In addition to supplying reclaimed HFCs, such as R134a and R410A, A-Gas said, it also supplies reclaimed CFCs and HCFCs, including R22, to support the current install base. A-Gas also said that its Rapid Recovery® supports businesses by providing high-speed on-site refrigerant recovery to ensure every pound of refrigerant is recovered.
A-Gas said its circular approach of recovery, reclaiming, and repurposing refrigerants ensures the continued availability of these resources in the face of market constraints. The company said that utilising reclaimed gases alleviates the pressure of relying on an already strained supply in the face of the AIM Act HFC phasedown. A-Gas said that utilising reclaimed refrigerants does not use up any quota allocations while additionally ensuring the continued availability of these vital resources for years to come.
A-Gas said that it will livestream short informational sessions from its booth at the EXPO, allowing AHR attendees and those unable to make the event in person to learn. The company said that sessions can be watched on the A-Gas Americas YouTube channel (@agasamericas), and the schedule is as follows:
· Refrigerant Recovery: The Foundation for Lifecycle Refrigerant Management
