Dubai, UAE: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced beginning operations to commission, supply and lay down a 73-kilometre, 600-1200 mm water transmission network across Dubai, budgeted at AED 444 million, with a 300 kilometre, 100450 mm water transmission network costing AED 210 million.

The project, said DEWA, will increase Dubai’s overall water flow and meet current and future demand for water, and provide better services to customers.

“These networks will manage the increasing demand for water in the Emirate, providing a high-quality infrastructure for Dubai’s sustainable development, based on the highest international standards,” said H.E.
