Danfoss

Danfoss has announced the launch of the Performer Series – a range of commercial and light commercial scroll compressors. Their applications include: R410A, R134A, R407C, and R22 fixed and variable speed models. According to Danfoss, they are also available in tandem/trio configurations up to 60/90 tonnes.

The manufacturer lists the following product features and advantages:

• They are designed for excellence in performance, sound reduction and endurance, with a full capacity range from 7.5 to 30 tonnes, ensuring a perfect fit.
• They are engineered with an internal reverse vent valve to prevent the compressors from reverse rotation when wrongly powered.
• They are equipped with an internal motor protection embedded in the motor windings, or in some cases, using an electronic motor protection module, enabling safe operation and protection of the compressors.
• They can significantly reduce energy consumption and operating cost with an EER up to 11.15, thanks to advanced technology and product quality following TS16949.
